With the aim of enhancing the green soul of the Maremma, Villa Acquaviva has decided to participate in an entirely innovative initiative of its kind in Italy: the installation of recharging columns for electric cars in the Maremma.
The introduction of the columns is part of a wider awareness program for the responsible and ecological use of means of transport and the spread of electric mobility in the territory of the famous Morellino di Scansano.
The leader of the initiative is the Consorzio Tutela Morellino di Scansano DOCG which has decided to equip the area with a series of columns for electric recharging, at the moment there are 11, becoming the first DOCG EV friendly in Italy.
This combination of wine tourism and sustainable mobility will enhance the by now consolidated naturalistic vocation of the Tuscan Maremma, with the aim of intercepting a growing demand for eco-friendly services, especially from foreign tourists.
At our facility, therefore, you will find, inside the car park reserved for guests, a column for recharging electric cars in Saturnia - Manciano which reaches a power of 22kW.
With this initiative we continue our perennial research and promotion not only of slow tourism in the Maremma, but from today increasingly green!
